The ELSKY NANO4E is an ultra-compact (120mm*120mm) industrial Nano-ITX motherboard. Q1:Can it support dual Gigabit LAN and M.2 NVMe SSD simultaneously?
A: No. Due to shared PCIe lanes, configuring dual LAN sets the M.2 slot to SATA mode. M.2 NVMe (PCIe) SSD is supported only on single-LAN versions.
Q2: How do I change COM1 mode to RS422 or RS485?
A: You can easily switch COM1 between RS232, RS422, and RS485 directly in the BIOS setup without moving physical jumpers.
Q3: Is this motherboard suitable for fanless operation?
A: Yes. The onboard Intel processor operates at low power (TDP 6W–10W), making it ideal for passive, fanless chassis cooling.
